Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the scope of work.

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, specifications, and other project related documents.

• Conduct, coordinate or supervise geotechnical field investigations.

• Analyze data and perform engineering calculations and analyses such as bridge foundations (drilled shaft, pile, etc.), retaining walls including MSE wall, soil nailed wall, drilled shaft wall, sheet pile wall, etc.), pavement structures, slope stabilities, etc.

• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical report for PE review.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited school.

• Good oral communication skills to interact with clients and staff. 

• Good written skills for preparing proposals, reports, and other engineering documents.

• Good organizational skills to utilize firm resources efficiently and effectively.

• Possess valid Texas driver’s license.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Use of Adobe InDesign to develop and coordinate materials for proposals, qualifications statements, and brochures.

• Occasional design of custom graphics for proposal, qualification packages, presentations, leave-behind collateral, and advertisements which complement standard template and brand standards.

• Research and technical writing to enhance our existing literature and develop new collateral.

• Coordination with business development leadership in strategic development of marketing collateral.

• Update and maintain marketing collateral and database.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or Communications.

• Experience as a proposal/marketing coordinator in a professional services firm preferred.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite. 

• Strong writing, editing, communication, organization, and computer skills.
